Hot & spicy.
Hot & spicy.
One of the best chinese restaurants in Red Deer! Great value for your money, quick takeout, & friendly service. I love their deep fried shrimp and wonton soup! They also have a beautiful fish tank.
Decent Chinese Buffet! Everything is tasty, thanks to MSG! They always refill all trays and always served hot! Entrees are tasty, soups are OK, desserts are either dry, bland or too sweet but the ice cream is decent. Lots of choices from all kind of proteins and vegetables. They also have salad bar and a mini sushi area. For the price and overall experience I can say its worth it!
Had an amazing experience here. I though this buffet was great, and it was only 18 at lunch. I really like the fried chicken wings, beef tripe and all the dimsum. The service was even better than the food, our table was cleared regularly and quickly. The employees here were all so pleasant as well. I can't wait to come back!
The food was good. Flavor in every bite. Attentive servers and a nice atmosphere and spacious. Good selection in food and desserts. The only suggestion is putting some seasoning in the Wanton soup meatballs. We were from Calgary, but we would definitely come back if passing through or visiting Red Deer.
Our family loves this buffet! Not only is there plenty of options for different palates, the flavours are more authentic/have depth(as opposed to white-washed generic recipes). The atmosphere is simple yet lovely, and the service is generally good(though you could tell our server didn't want to be there, she was still polite). This is our favorite buffet and we'll be back many times I'm sure!
Nommi good deal! Stopped by here on the way through town and so happy we did. Food was pretty good and staff were friendly and attentive. I really loved the huge selection of desserts. Definately worth a try!
Has greatly improved since our last visit. Good variety Chinese and western dishes. Yummy desserts and fresh fruit to completed the meal. You may pay a few dollars more for this buffet but remember, you pay for what you get. I would return
Fantastic! We were there for lunch on a sunday. A good selection on the buffet at a very reasonable price. They told me lunch during Monday to Friday was even a lower price. Salads, pizza, fries, onion rings, fried chicken as well as the typical Chinese food. The ginger beef was amazing, just a bit of a "zing". Broccoli was cooked to perfection. Didn't try the dim sum. Hubby said won ton soup was good as well as the pepper beef and beef and broccoli. I enjoyed the salad bar. Coleslaw was yummy. The chicken balls had too much batter and the spring rolls weren't deep fried long enough for my taste. Vermicelli and the thick noodles were good. Amazing choices of desserts, all kept in a cooler. Why don't other places do this?? Ice cream choices were cherry, something with sprinkles, rainbow and several others. I liked it wasn't typical chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. I enjoyed the desserts I tried. The tarts had great insides but too much pastry, Nanaimo bars were typical, the coffee tasting one was real good as was the one with caramel. There's not an over abundance of items, which is good. Too many choices can be a bad thing as they tend to sit too long. Items here were all fresh and replaced often. Didn't get that "sat under the heat lamp forever" taste. There is something for almost everyone here. Decor is pleasant. Establishment and washrooms were clean, staff very friendly and helpful. One of the few restaurants where I witnessed them getting along and working as a team. Nice for a change. Keep that up! I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back!! As a side note they do offer take out for buffet prices.
